I have a Canon Printer and a Canon camera. For christmas my other half bought me a new all-singing, all-dancing Canon camera (from Jessops, so that guarantee's a lot of good!). I want to upload the disc so that I can load my photos but I already have loads of Canon progs. for the printer and old Canon camera. How do I work out which ones to delete?
Many thanks.

I never load the software that comes with the camera and I always find Windows can handle it ok.

Just plug the cable into the camera, and the other end in the PC, turn on the camera, and after a few seconds Windows will ask what you want to do, with one of the options to import the pictures.

Select the folder where you want the pictures to go, press OK (or whatever) and the pictures will download from camera to PC.

No need to install the Canon software at all.

Thanks, will give it a go at the weekend.
Tigerlily....don't forget, your guarantee is with Canon, not Jessops, so if the unusual happens, like your camera going bugger-up, Canon should sort this out for you.

Anyway, Jessops is still living and breathing as we speak !
