Had a call about an hour ago from British Gas asking if I would like my annual service this afternoon.I agreed and the man turned up just now. When I remarked it was unusual he said they have got very little work due to the mild weather . Mind you he's still checking my boiler, hope everything is OK.

Hope some of the brainy ones are around (The Builder, Buildersmate and so on)

Might be worth trying again maggiebee. What has your weather been like?
They usually ring me in July to service mine, and then in November/December when I need it it breaks down.
