According to the manual it will play WMA files too, so it's not that PP Plug the MP3 player in, then goto my computer and double click MIX... find one of the MP3 files on the device and right click on it and select properties and then post the information it gives.

" have i put music on wrong bit?"
As we know nothing about your MP3 player, or about where you've put the music, how on earth do you expect a useful reply?

happy christmas to you too rojash.need help so if you dont now dont bother. sure someone will help. and i dont know about them thats why im asking! thought that was the point of this site.
It was a fair comment from rojash.

You've basically asked us "I've bought something and done something but it hasn't worked, what did I do wrong".... the secret to getting a good answer is to ask a good question and you've given absolutely no useful information.

What's the make and model of the MP3 player and how *exactly* did you copy the MP3's onto it?
Rojash was asking what MP3 player, ie make model etc? Also, where did you put the mp3 files?

Perfectly sensible queries which should have been on your original post, no need to get all upset and insult someone trying to help you.

Merry Christmas!!

its a phillips sa3mxx02 4 gb i have put music onto windows media player and transfered over and is showing on folder view on mp3 player but dont know how to get it to music.
If you have copied WMA files over to your MP3 player they wont play as they will be the wrong format. All songs need to be in MP3 format to play off your MP3.
Simples.
