Does anyone recommend changing from Outlook Express to Thunderbird?
To be honest, I'm getting along fine with OE, but on the other hand, I did think Internet Explorer was fine until I finally got round to downloading Firefox.

Any comments much appreciated.

in my opinion, i would definately move from OE... but not to Thunderbird. I would go for Microsoft's Office Outlook 2003. A great and powerful product.
try Thunderbird!

at the end of the day, it's free so the only cost is your time to set it up to receive your email. If you like it, stick with it. If you still prefer OE, go back that. It's not too much hassle.
Thunderbird is a far better email client anything written by Bill G. The spam fllter is brilliant. The other bonus with firefox and thunderbird is they are not targeted by virus writers as vigourously as anything written by Microsoft is and there's not as many bugs in them.
Yes I would go for it never did like OE and have had no problems with Thunderbird (as recommended this site orignally)
