Recently there was the a judge who said "It takes a huge amount of courage, as far as I can see, for somebody to burgle somebody's house. I wouldn't have the nerve."

And now one has said: 'I take into account four of the wounds and two of the deep wounds were deliberately made by you on the legs.

'I am therefore giving you credit for the fact that when you used the knife the way you did you were taking care not to inflict life threatening injuries, although I am aware that such injuries can cause death.

There really are some very caring knife wielding thugs about these days.

glad to see i was put in the dock without uttering a word,
i follow Naomi on this one, the judge comments were foolish as were the previous Judge on commending the burglar for his courage. As to the sentence it would be 20 years, no parole had i been up there on the bench. I am not so he got seven years, which won't be seven at any rate.

No it wouldn't.

Because the sentencing guidelines as laid down by our Laws wouldn't allow you to.

And if you did, the sentence would be immediately overturned and you would be quietly retired and escorted to the senile judges' home.
Most judges are silly old f@rts - speaking from my experiences on jury duty.

They use their position to waffle on at the captive audience thinking that they are spouting words of wisdom. Try to stop them and they jail you for contempt.
^ I object.
heavens, Canary, how many months did you serve?
^ If it was a life sentence, probably about six.
