I got the black one seeing as its for son and he will get it filthy! But I've been setting it up for him and its so fast. Am very impressed so far.

it's good sound, easy to use, and don;t forget that he can use whsmith giftcards on it to buy ebooks from the kobo site or direct from smiths and so no need to use your credit card

Only thing that I wasnt sure about - I asked how he could buy apps and they guy said you had to buy a top up voucher from ToysRus??

what the battery life like, i bought a vox and its terrible?

I dont know, ive only set it up as its one of son's xmas present but its meant to be very good indeed.

i hope it is smow, apart from that, i think the vox is excellent but you can;t go anywhere with it without the charger and it completely discharges within 2/3 hours! (and that's with the internet off, on its even worse)
