A Question About Fedex?

I'm selling some musical equipment to a company in Leeds, and they've ordered FedEx to fetch my equipment and then when it arrives there, they will pay me.

Am I covered on my side (proof, etc)? I have e-mails saying they want the equipment.

Thanks.

I'm not sure I would be happy to proceed with the transaction on that basis.

FedEx are simply a courier company and trying to establish what they 'know' about their customer, should any problems develop, could be very difficult.

Why have the purchasers suggested that you proceed with the transaction in this manner?
errrr don't think fedex get involved with the transactions, only the delivery will be covered. Why haven't they paid you up front? Have you checked that the delivery address is genuine?
what's the name of the company? have you googled them?
Oh no - pay first.
^ but only if it's cleared funds.... otherwise no way

Thanks for the answers.

Company name: http://www.bopdj.com/
ok they look like a well established company from their website, is the deal based on them testing the equipment before they will actually pay fr it? why don't you offer them a money back guarantee via paypal if they are not happy?

They're just checking it, then sending money through my bank. They look legit.
maybe someone on here could offer advice on what paperwork to email/send with the consignment that clarifies what you are sending and also what the agreed terms are
