Email won't send

Trying to send an email but keep getting an email saying (amongst other technical gobbledygook)

Technical details of permanent failure:
DNS Error: Domain name not found

I have checked the address I am sending it to and it is correct. Obviously I am doing something glaring stupid but don't know what. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Are you absolutely sure you are getting the address correct. domain not found means the part after the @ sign is very likely incorrect.

Thank you - it was a - and not a . in between two words, would never have spotted (my brain is knackered from lack of use).

I guess, you have put the incorrect domain after @, else there has been a mistake of writing the name of the domain by leaving space between them and by adding a special character like “_”, “-“ in the domain name, that’s why it was giving you error like this.
