Loved the bit when they were talking to the vicar and she asked why they wanted to get married in church before God and the chap said he thought he might be glad of the trade.

Looking forward to next week already
such a funny programme.....i like it too x
Loving it.............why isn't there more like this. Even my daughter is looking forward to it.
Mmm. I think it's getting a bit silly. Locked in an Elizabethan hall for the night? I don't think so. By the way it was Shibden Hall they were in.
We're really enjoying it here - I'm just frustrated because I keep almost recognising the melody in the theme music and then it slips away from me.
It's excellent - I particularly enjoy Sarah Lancashire as the daughter.
Loved it when she threw the bucket of water over him.
I love it, but like Zacs, thought the ghostly hall thing was a bit silly. I had just come in from work and was trying to watch it. Tell me folks, how did they get into the Hall? Who let them in- did they have a key then?
I have recorded the whole thing and will watch the bit I missed after work today but I'm curious!
Brilliant performances from all of them
I don't watch much TV but am loving this - very good acting :)
who cares about a little bit of silliness. so good.

Yes love it too.
Yogasun - the door was open, and then they heard the door close when they were upstairs and heard the key turn.
I absolutely love it, it is so much my era, even down to the way the daughter speaks to her mum. Sally Wainwright is a fantastic writer - the did 'Home with the Braithwaites' where they won a huge amount on the lottery. She just has the right turn of phrase.
Thanks hellywelly4 x
I am really enjoying it too, also was confused with the haunted hall bit, not necessary, neither is all the violence and blood, but a jolly good show. He comes across as a bit "soft in the head" to me.
Loving it...I can't help feeling Alan knows more about Eddie's death...and could Raff really be Robbie's son? There's sommat funny goin' on up there. :)
can't remember their names, but surely the farm woman is going to end up with the other one's husband??
What about the dog at the farm? Not seen sight nor sound of it since it was wandering around outside a couple of episodes ago. All too wrapped up in themselves to bother about the poor thing:-(
Loving it, beautiful acting by all concerned. Is it a woman thing do you think?
Oh dear. Ive missed it. I enjoyed the first episode.
