I bet you like caffeine-free coffee and alcohol-free beer too. :-)

^ handy if you happen to have Richard Hammond coming over for dinner.
Mick-Talbot, why are you bothering to comment on something you haven't used and have no experience of?
At least I've eaten chips cooked by the acti-fryer and very nice and 'chippy' they are.

No idea Crafty, all I know is the Acti-Fryer is pish.

Guess how I know ..........
Still confused, I've had actifry chips but not 10 cans of lager. Must admit to a bit of wine.
People are saying actifry is poo = sugar. Blimey, I love my actifry, probably post in another section when my house has burnt down.
For how often I have chips the deep fat fryer is better for me, because the chips taste like ......well chips. 170 quids worth of rubbish.

Why are tefal bothering to bring out the air fryer if the acti fry is so supreme?
To be honest I rarely do chips in it now, branching out into other dishes.

Pork in creme fraiche, curried lamb chops, fried potatoes with bacon and onion, tiger king prawns with bean sprouts and any other veggie.

Well worth the money, it has changed my life lol!!
we used to have an acti fry...........very good but when we needed spares..............absolutely and completely overpriced.........

we now have a 'crisp and bake' halogen oven and the chips in that are cooked in the same way as the actifry and to my mind they are better tasting, and we have the added benefit of having a halogen oven.
