Google have up dated their browser and where you could change for result between the WEB and your COUNTRY of choice with one click, it now takes three clicks. Quite annoying.

Anyone found a way to encompass this yet?

Google haven't updated their browser.

they've updated their search engine, which is just a web page and would look the same regardless of the browser you use.

errrm, if you don't like chrome updating itself just disable it (it's in task scheduler)

Actually it's bloody annoying - especially as it's not particularly obvious that you need to click the right-most option in order to change the leftmost option. But as has been said, it's nowt to do with Chrome.

There does seem to be a craze for changing intuitive interfaces into counter-intuitive ones, right across the software industry at the moment. The worst offenders are the "invisible options" which don't appear unless you move your mouse (or fingers) into a particular area. How the fcuk are you supposed to guess at something like that?
