I've been in contact with a seller who has 5 identical items, 3 of which I want to buy. They are listed as £5 each delivery, I've negotiated £8 total for delivery. Thing is, I've asked about changing the postage and have heard nothing back.
What I want to know is, if I click to "buy it now" will I be able to change the postage cost from my end to the agreed £8 ?

i think the seller will give you credit and adjust it, that happened when i bought 2 Angel figures from the same seller.

Oh ok Dotty, not sure what to do, the seller seems a bit dippy! She has replied on and off, and as I said has agreed to £8 rather than £15 delivery. Really want these items, maybe I should go ahead and hope for best!
Go ahead - if I sell several things to the same person, I adjust the postage on the final invoice (which eBay would normally automatically show (in your case) as £15). The seller changes the invoice before sending it to the buyer. I suggest therefore that you don't pay for the items until the seller has invoiced you, and if she hasn't changed the postage amount, you can then remind her what she's agreed (and I hope she's weighed the 3 items together to ensure that they will go for £8 or less!).

You can't change the invoice (only the seller can do that), but if you click Buy It Now you will have indicated your intention to buy the items (which is then a firm contract) but you don't have to pay for them until the invoice is correct.

Thanks boxtops, went ahead on buy it now & got the items :) seems that she had already adjusted the postage to combined delivery once I got to the invoice page, would have been a lot easier if she'd let me know that!
If you sell something and do a postage discount ( I do this ) then you have to put the discount on as you send the final invoice . If the seller has promised a discount then ask for the total payment due , there is a facility to do this on ebay. The total should show the amount payable with the discount. If they have forgotten you can message them and ask for a revised invoice.
