I few minutes ago i was filling in an online application form for a temporary Christmas job...or attempting to..
I am not employed at the moment but the first question says "Current Role" so obviously i cannot fill it in as i am not working, therefore when i try to go to the next page of the form it wont let me because i havent filled the "Current Role" section.Has anybody else come across this?

Just write in that box "not currently employed" - that should let you move on?
Yes- you just need to say what you are doing (applying for jobs/doing voluntary work, research, registered with agencies etc)
Such forms are a pain in the neck - try putting "not applicable" or "unemployed" in the current role box.
Well lots of web forms won't let you progress if you've missed something out. Are you able to free write in the box? You could say unemployed, home maker, odd-job person!!

Thanks folks.
I thought I saw you were in Ashton on the snow thread. I think Subway in Manchester City Centre had a sign outside saying they were recruiting the other day.
