I have pulled a tendon in my heel and wondered if it was advisable to go to the Dr or just let it get better on it's own?

It isn't too bad as I can hobble round, albeit painfully, and it is just the tendon on the inside not all the way round.

What do you think?

I cannot see how the doctor can help it heal more than gentle exercise and Ibuprofen for the pain. Monitor the situation for the next week.
does this help ?

I would ask a practice nurse to strap it up for you - I think that you would find it more comfortable if supported.
I went to the doctor a few weeks ago who disgnised tendonitis in both heels/feet and he said exactly as Sqad has - rest and painkillers.
*diagnosed, lol.
