I have recently installed FreeFileViewer to view some downloads from my emails.
They recommend that I should install a free back-up programme from JustCloud.com, which is supposed to provide unlimited free back-up.
I duly installed it, and found that it only backed up a small percentage of my files, and if I want to back-up the rest, I have to pay a monthly subscription.
Can anyone recommend a truly free backup programme.
I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop and am on Vista Basic, and I don't have an enormous number of files, no films or music.
Thank you

Vista has a backup program built in.

Just go into the "search" field in the bottom left of the Windows menu and type Backup.

This will display the "Backup and Restore" option and you can set up your backups using that.

Thank you VHG. I have had my laptop for 4 years now and I did not realise it had a back-up facility.
