Strangely enough I posted a question about Pointless at the end of August and a reply fron SDDSDDEAN said that he and his brother had won Pointless for a five figure sum starting with a 2 and that it will be shown mid/late November. That was Simon and I would like congratulate him and his brother on their excellent performance and their well deserved win.

Did you use any of the money to visit Panama Simon?

Well done Simon - a well-deserved win.

I record Pointless when I'm not around to watch and went to view yesterday's programme a bit earlier on after reading about Simon being on. However, although there was sound on the tv, there was none on the video. So I tried to watch on the computer and after a few minutes, it came up that there was insufficient bandwidth. Began thinking I'm not really meant to watch it, when i tried again with a small screen instead of the full picture and it worked fine.

Thanks for the congrats. It was a worthwhile day!! I was kicking myself later as Kazakstan and Kyrgystan are nearly always pointless answers, but when you are there it all goes out of your head! Martin thought of Panama. I should have got it as 4 months before I'd gone through the canal on a cruise! Like everyone says; its harder when you're on the telly.
