John Surtees

Any reason why John Surtees hasn't been knighted? He's the only person ever to be a world champion on two and four wheels. I find it strange that others have received their award for services to motor racing but have achieved less than John.

Some people dont want to be knighted, you can turn it down.

However the fact he has accepted two other honours means he probably would not turn it down.
