Windows 8, Pro or pro pack?

I have Windows 7 on my pc. I want to upgrade it to the new Windows 8. I have noticed there are two products available to buy from some of the major retailers. Windows 8 pro
Windows 8 pro pack.

The only difference I see is that they are in different boxes and one is named pack and the other isn't. The prices are both identical. I have looked on other web sites and many people are also confused with this but there are no answers saying the difference between the two products. There is some confusion to it from one persons comment and that is that one of them is for people who have windows 8 standard and wants to upgrade to pro and should buy a certain one of the two but for the people who have windows 7 and want windows 8 is no information anywhere to say don't buy such a one but the other.

Which one should I buy?

I think the Windows 8 Pro Pack enables you to move up from the "ordinariy" Windows 8. You have to be on Windows 8 to use it.

As a matter of interest as you are on Windows 7 what do you think you will gain by moving up to Windows 8?

This is just a general question as I dont see much to gain by going up to 8, and in fact with the new Windows interface you have a lot to lose.
