I believe that MOTD do have a policy to suppress racsit and obscene crowd chanting and players' unruly verbals, since they receive lots of complaints when something unsavoury is exposed (even if only to lip-readers).
*racist
nope I agree with him and hope he continues fighting for something he believes in.
I don't think watching Match of the Day is a reliable guide to racism in football, whether there's a lot of it or very little of it.
I'm with David James on this.
Brenden @1233 - will white players be allowed to join? If not, is that not also racism?
Paper states black and ethnic players welshyorkie - I think they are under the impression racism is only carried out by white people - black people cannot be racists -
Ferdinand has denied the story.

// Rio Ferdinand has quickly moved to downplay reports that he is working on the formation of a new footballers' union – specifically, but not uniquely for black players. "Don't believe all u read", he advised his almost three-and-a-half million Twitter followers //

// But while admitting to finding Ferdinand’s stance as ‘compelling,’ Ferguson, a former union shop steward during his time as a toolmaker in Glasgow, urged those players currently aggrieved by the anti-racism campaign to consider their actions and focus on a more united front.

“I think you are always stronger as a union, there’s more solidarity than as a single unit and that is where I stand,” Ferguson said.

“I have listened to the conviction of Rio and I think it is quite compelling. I can understand his stance.

DTcrosswordfa Wow .Wot insight innit ?
It's getting clearer by the day, the idea of a "black and ethnic union" to quote Jason Roberts "We should have the same rights as other people to get into management and coaching. For the number of players from ethnic minority backgrounds who have appeared at every level, there are still too few who have made it through into other aspects of the game" If they are good enough they get the same rights at everybody else - or is it they want Positive Discrimination which as I have said before is the most blatant form of racism.
