I wonder if the teacher who absonded to france with his underage girlfriend will be treated so leniently?
Guilty to sexual activity with child.
Guilty to sexual activity with his 17 year old brother.
Guilty of becoming pregnant with one or the other.
Guilty of having an abortion at the NHS expense..
Guilty of supplying cannabis and possession of the drug.
Guilty of sending indecent pictures and text messages to a child.
The sentence:
Nine-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and she must also sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for ten years.
I tend to agree with the boy's father when he said,

Anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence would be able to sort out of that list of things she was guilty of, which ones were actually illegal and which ones were not, without the need to try and be clever so as to point out what is plain obvious.
No the whole problem here is the fact that some on this site in their efforts to try and belittle others, will jump in stating what is obvious, and then are annoyed when shown they have failed so miserably.

Is it your practice to find someone guilty before they are tried, and reject the principle of innocent until proved guilty, aog? Just ask, because you draw a comparison and wonder whether the school teacher will be treated as leniently as this woman sex offender, which predicates that he is guilty of an offence of unlawful sexual intercourse, with which he hasn't even been charged yet, and might never be.

One can be guilty of doing something, that they themselves do not necessarily feel guilty of doing.
One can be guilty of doing something that is not illegal.
One can be guilty of having sex before marriage, which they themselves don't feel guilty of, or that the state finds illegal.
One can be guilty of having an abortion, but the woman perhaps doesn't feel at all guilty about herself, or that the state finds illegal.
Now sit down comfortable, read this and then digest it.
