Over the years I have been visited 4 or more times by guys who are deaf selling their artwork.

I'm kind of intrigued that there are so many talented(?) deaf artists selling their work door to door.

Has anyone else had this?

I believe it's some kind of scam...no surprise there.
Personally I would never buy anything at the door but I guess if anyone likes these pictures and thinks they're worth the money then thats ok.
There are mouth painters and footpainters, many of whom are quite talented and deserving of support..but deafness shouldn't be any handicap to being an artist......some sort of con. maybe..not had them here...
I've never heard of those others selling their paintings door to door though.

I am 99% sure it is a scam, but......

It's interesting that they always have the same kind of portfolio, laminated card introducing themselves etc.

What I can't get my head around is that it's been going on for over 15 years!

So, 1% of me wonders if it's real?!?!?
lol..sort of door to door eth...with a little help from a friend...viz...the postman....get a few dropped through the letterbox around now...Christmas cards offers as a rule....:-)
We get them all the time ...it's a scam . Tell them they have dropped a coin and they will hear you !
I didn't quite get that ? What was it you just said ?
