why wasn't the outlet shut down, how can sell this kind of drink?
I hope it doesn't become a challenge for the foolhardy like Fugu Fish are in the Far East.
I should add I think it's a terrible pity about this young woman.
it is a terrible pity but what on earth were the sellers thinking, or weren't they.
I heard on the lunchtime news that the police were investigating but I stopped listening when the operation of stomach removal was explained.
Hope she recovers.
Ingestion of liquid nitrogen is extremely dangerous - I doubt anyone would consider drinking boiling liquid would be a sensible thing to do, and ingesting liquid nitrogen is just as dangerous.

A partial or total gastrectomy is a serious long term potential consequence - not something to look forward to. Interesting article in the Independent from a few years ago about coming to terms with the consequences of a gastrectomy here;

I've seen something similar (not sure if it was liquid nitrogen or not but that kind of effect) it was at a private party in a posh bar in town and they had loads of them, in testube like things on a tray they bought round trying to get people to buy. I didn't touch them.
I still quite like ice cubes...
Where are the Eurocrats when we actually need them? I gather they have just ruled that the WI etc are not allowed to put home made preserves in second hand jam jars so surely they can tackle something that is really a danger to life and stomach?
I think it's an easier option for them to stick to the second hand jam jars beckersjay.

Anything worthwhile seems to give them a problem!
