I have just decorated and would like to change my white plug sockets to the brushed silver ones. I don't know what the type i have are called, they are not the flush/recessed type they are the boxed typed that protrude from the wall. The electrician put those ones on the internal single brick walls.
I have looked on screwfix and wickes but they only seem to sell the flush sockets.
many thanks

It's a surface light switch box, like these.

You then put whatever cover you want on it.
