Δεν ξέρω.

LOL! There's no need to be quite so formal, and I just love the fact that you've used the Latin question mark in a Greek phrase... :-)
o my word...there is a Greek Question mark???? Clever peeps on here.

I have Windows Vista fenders62
Go to Control Panel and then Region & Language. Is anything in there set to Greek?

Tried that MarkRae everything is marked as English and UK. I contacted Hotmail help line what a laugh they say they would only look at it if I sent £300.
^^ OK, so now we know this is a wind-up...
My computer went into French last week and was showing the French version of the Orange website - I rang Orange and they told me to do certain things which did not work so in the end I did a system restore to a time it was working properly and that worked - no trouble since. Best of luck.

No Wind up just a very annoying problem
then do a system restore
How can you read instructions and command buttons?
For less than £300 you could buy a Rosetta Stone Greek language course.
On a separate thread you state that it's just MSN and Hotmail which are coming up in Greek, which suggests that it's not your computer that is at fault.
You also say that your computer was hacked, but I suspect you mean that your hotmail account was hacked. So you probably need to go into Windows Live and change the settings there.

to DTcrosswordfa that's the problem I can't I have a smattering of Greek but it doesn't run to technical jargon.
To ichkeria I did say it was my homail account their help line say that their hotmail doesn't get hacked and it must be my computer but will look into it if I pay them. I will go somewhere local and see if they can help, but thank you for your suggestion.
can you sit next to someone and work through a system restore by mirroring the English instructions on your mate's?
Hotmail told you that their accounts don't get hacked?? They're either impostors or liars if they told you that. Ours was compromised and in fact it was Windows Live which warned us and forced us to change password.
Try this:

Although of course you will need some knowledge of Greek to proceed(!)
