A poll (by the Guardian) has shown that Red Ed has only 22% of people who think he would be a good Prime Minister. 63% were a definite no and the rest dont knows.

Seems pretty damming to me. Cant stand the sneering lefty. If he can stab his brother in the back I bet he would have no qualms about stabbing the Tax payer.

// So, only around one in three Londoners bothered to vote at all and, of those, just about half chose Boris Johnson //

I was just going on your above information QM. I assumed the point you were making was that Boris wasn't particularly popular, at least in the mayoral election.
surprise to me that people seem to think he is not popular, he is a damned sight more popular than Ken Livingstone.
That's kind of the point I was making em. It really grates with the left that people actually seem to like Boris Johnson.
he is a good Mayor, popular, and not affiliated to some extremist group with an axe to grind.
Ludwig, even I quite like Boris! Buffoons often are popular...and yes, I know that he is, in fact, a very intelligent man. However, he clearly wasn't popular enough to persuade two thirds of Londoners to cast a vote of any sort and the difference between the candidates was a lot smaller than everyone expected.
