Furniture scratches

Some years ago I recall being able to purchase sticks of hard coloured wax which were used to mask scratches and chips to furniture. They were in sets of various shades from teak, mahogany, beech etc. Can any ABer please advise if these are still available, as I have been unable to find any hardware store which has even heard of them. Thanks in advance for any info received.

Try 'Axminster Tools', Devon. They have always been available from there. Would also suggest you request them for a copy of their catalogue. Probably the best tool catalogue in the UK.

Google 'scratch crayons'. There are loads of places where you can get them.
You can get them on ebay as well.

You're probably thinking of Rustin's Wax Filler Sticks. They are mentioned on this website:

I think it's either Kleeneze or Betterware that do them.
I saw a set of these crayons in one of the cheap shops (not Poundshop) only this last week.
