Weather Loach with floaty problem!

Hi ABers
I have a 10" weather loach which appears to be having problems staying below the water! His tail end seems to be floating and dragging him upwards. To combat this he has taken to laying atop one of the submerged filter inlet spray bars. I'm thinking this could be a swim bladder problem and wondered if it is treatable without isolation as I don't have a separate "hospital" tank. He also appears to have some king of hole in his side with a bruised area around it, I'm wondering if he's caught himself on some tank furniture maybe? Wondering though, whether this could be associated with the other issue?

Anyway; TIA as usual.

sounds like swim bladder to me - but ring your vet, or ask at your aquatic shop.

Thanks guys, I thought Lisa would be on the ball LOL! It does sound swim bladder-esque though doesn't it!
He could of course be constipated, so try the cooked crushed pea thing as well but I'd be more worried about his wound right now, people on TFF will be able to advise as to any meds you could give...though good clean water is the best healer.
And sorry was on the iPad last night so heres a live link to the site

Sorry for the late reply, I managed to borrow a tank and separate him but Gordon passed away the following weekend before I had chance to get medication after 5 years as a loyal tank gang member. Thanks for the advice anyway.
