I really feel like baking a cake (to get rid of some pent up aggression)..

But I have never even tried to cook one, let alone in an AGA?

Tips please?

I cooked a cherry tray bake thing in my mil's Aga once (pre-Internet so no help). Can't remember how I did it but it can't have been difficult though.
No problem baking or cooking in an Aga. The Top oven temp.is normally 475.F and the simmering oven is normally 240.f. Just mix your cake as usual and put it into the top of the oven and to reduce temp. put the solid shelf on the top set of runners. I think cooking in an aga is great and much more reliable than any other cooker. (prehistoric I call them others i mean.) I have been without an aga for 6yrs since we moved. Miss it terribly.
Kat, try bread instead. It's great for releasing tension and aggression.
Hi kat. I've never cooked one either so shall we do it together?
Pre-heat the oven to 400c. You then start off with 3 pounds of plain flour, half a pound of Demerara sugar, six pints of milk............
Hang on. Let's try again...........
