Morning all - the sky is blue, the clouds popcorn colour here - for the moment.

Got to play chauffeur today with visits to the NHS Aged Dementia Unit for the road check for the mater.....always fun says he with gritted teeth, not because of them, but my mother who perceives it as an invasion of her privacy, not as help.

I was born there and lived in Inverness . first part of my life .Been here over 40 years and still hold a Burns night every year for my friends . They love it.

Morning Welshy and everyone. Autumnal but promising morning here. I've painted my toenails sparkly gold and black then you hold a special magnet over them to create a pattern. What a mess! I look peculiar and the blasted stuff won't come off. I'm sure I read the instructions properly...I think. Maybe I was in the joke shop when I bought it???

Hi Gness, I also bought some of the special magnetic nail varnish you mention. I had to perservere with it and found that you have to hold the magnet over the nail as long as you can (much longer than in the instructions) and as close as possible without touching. Its a mean challenge to do this! but I have lovely "stars" on my toe and finger nails, the stripey pattern magnet doesn't work as well as the star. My varnishes are in steel grey or I have purple too. :)

It's a beautiful sunny autumn morning here in Nailsea, but it is a bit cold. At the moment not a cloud in the sky except for a few little white puffs. Hope it stays like this. It's how I like it - sunny, dry but not too hot.
