What you need is for your policy to be on an "Any Driver" basis,as opposed to having restricted driver/drivers,who are named on the policy, and of course on the Certificate of Insurance.
Up until fairly recently this cover was normally available, but nowadays not so readily available.
A GOOD Insurance Broker should be able to assist you here, but I doubt you will obtain this cover via web sites.
Sadly such is progress.
You will probably find that any other driver will have third party cover which extends to other vehicles (but it IS only third party and you have to give them permission to drive) - check the insurance cover of the people you may ask to drive your car. That won't cost you any more if the cover is already there.
Could you not have them on your policy as a named drive ?.
An any driverpolicy is going to be VERY expensive even if it is available at all.
You can have several named drivers on your policy at least 4 are allowed possibly more.
I do not think there is a policy which will cover you to drive any car fully comp.
If your insurance is fully comp you can usually drive someone elses car but only 3rd party. You need to check though as now a lot of policies do not include the 'driving other cars' part.
