Broke my ribs a couple of weeks ago and had been taking cocodomol and ibuprofen for pain relief. However for the past few days I have been taking tramodol in place of the cocodomol. I have started to itch all over since taking the tramodol. Can itching be a side effect of tramodol or is it something else and jst a coincidence that the itching has started since taking the tramodol? It also seems to be worse at night.
Thanks for any replies.

Yip antihistamine like Piriton will help. Itching with Tramadol is very common!
nailit, thank you for this question! I have been on Tramedol since Feb and my legs have been itching like mad. I never thought to put the two together!

I hope you feel better soon x

Thanks again for all replies guys. The itching itself is a small price to pay for a bit of pain relief, just wish I could get a decent nights sleep and get my ribs back to normal again.
