Just to remind you I'm a real computer idiot. I have just uninstalled Apple quicktime on my computer as it makes it freeze - when I went into control panel to do this I saw that there were four other Apple programmes -one I think is a 'fix it' one - do I need these or may I safely uninstall them. I have a Dell computer and use google and IE. Thank you.

thank you fender 62 - In my programme list I have Apple application support plus about five others with the same icon (but it doesn't mention apple on these)
do I remove these?
