I hope the prats in SAB (and the one or two who lurk around here) who send nasty and invidious messages to ABers are taking note about police action.
One has gone eerily quiet.
I thought a retweet to his 580,000 followers was a brilliant response from Tom Daley ... "Sort this guy out, will you?"

I thought the Ed said that was impossible. No one can send messages or emails to a AB user and that any personal information that enable them to do so must have come from another site.
Craig, Twitter has millions of users. They can and do remove things but it's not like on here where pretty much one person can moderate the entire site at any given time.
Ok one should keep ones guard up, but there are still unfortunate legacies, gromit.....there are a fair few stories around, as you know. The Salla story was one such tragedy in the sense we hardly see her on here now.

The worst one is not under Ed's control and that is some SABites making sick comments about ABers over on that site....and any trawl over there usually picks a couple up.

Yes, one has been very quiet, ummmm. Is the person suspended at the moment? - if so, for the better!
Yes it has hasn't it ummmm & DT.
Roy Cropper from Coronation St? Doesn't he know Roy's only a television character?
i didn't know his dad had died, though i knew he had terminal cancer from a morning show about a year ago.

the comments were nasty but those calling for a prison sentence i think is a bit to far.

i can soon envisage a tweeters wing in prisons, a famous footballer from the north west(have to be careful what i say) being top dog.
This confirms my decision to let Twitter pass me by was correct.
twitter and another site can't recall the name lol same for me hopkirk
And me too ....
It works the other way around too. Some amazing things have happened through Twitter and Facebook. It's normally the people that have never used the sites that condemn them the most.

Bad as that Tweet was, this seems worst
He was in the Daily Record today Sandy. Waste of space, he's quoted as saying 'I didn't think he was that bad' or words to that effect, I don't have the paper to hand anymore.
If he didn't think the man was that bad, why didn't he stop and phone for help anyway??? Idiot, senseless waste of a human being.
I don't need to use the sites Evian to know that they cause a lot of trouble and heartache to decent people, it's reporeted often enough. Quite happy with my decision to never use them, can live quite happily without them.
Good for you.
Yes, good for me - quite agree ......
the reason not to use those sites, not just the mindless drivel some come out wit, but having received a number of times hate fuelled e mails which i passed back to the sites moderator, I then quit from using it. So this is the only site i would and do happily come back to.
