I want to go wireless - I am buying a laptop, wireless printer, what else do I need? I have BT broadband with a modem, do I need a router or hub and can I buy that from anywhere or does it have to be a specific BT one? Any other help would be gratefuly received! Many thanks.

You need a wireless router. I swapped over and I rang BT and they just sent me a new router (or called a hub too)

Thats all.

ps my wireless printer never works as wireless. I have had to use a lead mostly so don't worry too much if yours is wireless or not, the main thing is the laptop and the hub.

My BT Broadband came with a hub. I have to plug a wire from my printer into my laptop whenever I need to print. Hope this helps !
When I got my printer years ago I got a free wireless connector... I just set it up tonight! It was easy and it works!
There's little value in having a wireless printer, as printers really aren't supposed to be portable. Obviously, if you can't position it within close proximity to the router, then you may have little choice...
