Just having a jovial debate, Is it a nice cup of tea or a cup of nice tea. The cup can be nice tea not etc!

The confusion here arises from the economy of the English language. In this instance cup denotes not the object but the quantity it contains, i.e. cupful. Some languages, such as Welsh, have two separate words to convey the two meanings.
