Recently I bought this book in Sainsburys. The recipes are really good BUT the binding is rubbish! The pages are already beginning to come out.
It was printed and bound in England!!
I would highly recommend the recipes though, especially the cheesestraws.

I wish there were an 'edit' facility here. I really must read my posts more carefully before 'hitting the button' for cyber space!

Hello, I would return the book to Sainsburys and ask them to exchange it. They have been very helpful even when we have had no till receipt.
I will keep a lookout for the book. Thanks for recommending it

Sainsburys is a difficult bus ride away for me. i went because I wanted the book so much. Sainsbury's Staff didn't have a clue a0 that they stocked it or 20 where it could be located!! Brilliant Customer Service!

The Publishers, Constable & Robinson, have been very good and are sending me a replacement . When I receive it I will return the faulty copy as they wuld lie to know which 'batch' it was from.
I really is a fantastic book. Try the cheese straws. I ommitted the sesame seeds but put a small amount of coriander chutney into the mix. They were VERY moreish!! Lots of other lovely recipes.

New, replacement book received today so 'well done' Constable & Robinson. ( the Publishers)and thank-you.
Will now return the other one so they can liaise with their printers/binders.and find out which batch was faulty.
Zilch response from Sainsburys..they are 'looking into it!!'
Hi pinkgin, Loved looking at Jo's recipes. But the one I like best is another winner from the british bake off....The Pink Whisk.

Thanks for that Valerie. I shall enjoy looking at all these recipes and hopefully making some.
I've made quite a few of her recipes,I also like her sense of humour.
Regards. Val :-)

Agreed. A sense of humour is such a grace. Saving grace.
Have a look at Jo's cheese straws. Really good. I added a dollop of chutney instead of the sesame seed and pickle. I mioxed it into the pastry. They are VERY moreish and cannot be calory high as there's so little flour butter etc.
Do you think the fizzy water helps to make them so 'short'
