Why is it the further you get into Europe the harder it is to get Rose?In Croatia the couple of bottles we have seen have been extortionate. I have resorted to buying a bottle of white and a bottle of red and mixing my own. Today Lidl had just one, the same Zinfandel in England at about £4.50 a bottle. Cheapo white is about £1.50 and red about the same. Whereas in France there is a much more reasonable choice. Just a little mutter, I love the country though.

OH says he saw proper Bacardie in Lidl today but didn't nottice the price. Gin very difficult to get, though when we see it it is very cheap about £4.50 per bottle so we stock up!

i didn't know they had lidles elsewhere, i went in one in leyland a while ago and they sell all sorts of random stuff
