Hello
Sound has not been working on my PC for ages and just today had another look to find out why , When i go on deivce manager under "other devices " there " multimedia audio controller" and this has a yellow exclamation mark next to it . I think i have some how deleted the driver for my pc's soudn car. i cant remember what the sound card was i think it was "realtek" . how can i find out what card it was because the pc does not say anything about it and i dont have a booklet on the sound or anything . How can i find out the sound card and where can i get the driver for it ?

Well if it is a realtek sound card you could start your hunt here.

Was it a seperate sound card or onboard on the motherboard. If it is onboard then the drivers will be on the motherboard driver cd
well, if i were in this case i would use an automatic software to download and install the right type sound card driver correctly and safely with ease. If you tried the realtek site, i suggest you now try some decent program. maybe you can try the software on this page http://www.audio-driv...dia-audio-driver.html good luck ;)
