After seeing the disturbing reports on this " childrens" play site, was wondering if anyone has children that use it and are unaware of what is actually taking place on it

My two used to play in years ago, but only for a couple of months and they got bored. Also, one was hacked and had all his stuff nicked.

I watched the C4 news report last night and found it stunning. I couldn't figure it out though. If abuse was that prevalent, to the extent that two paedophiles had already been jailed and every visit resulted in an inappropriate contact, why has it only just come to light?

Surely a parent (a few do accompany their kids online), police officer (prosecuting those jailed) or even child must have raised the issue before now ...

I was surprised to discover that it has been going on for years and is still going on. Surely now, after the zimmerman case, the police can demand the names and addresses of all those who use the site or at least those they identify as child groomers
I had a look one afternoon, about 7 years ago whilst they were at school. Didn't like some of the things I saw/read. They were only on when I was able to see what was going on. Fortunately, they got bored with it. I felt banning it might make them go 'underground' as it were.
I hope somebody traced these perverts before the reports were published..

It would be good to arrange a meeting for them with a few Hell's Angels...
I did watch the report on this last night, and read the article in the paper, it does seem disturbing, and i am sure that more can be done to stamp this sort of thing out. If the sponsors, advertisers are aware of what goes on, perhaps they will stop advertising on these sites. I firmly believe it's time all the companies like Facebook, twitter, were more responsible, and after accidentally coming across some very pornographic images, which wasn't funny at all, feel that it's all too easy to look at porn. No way would i let a child have free rein on these sites, but i seem to be in the minority.
