tired out!!

Hi all, i had a hysterectomy 12 days ago and today was my first trip into the big wide world, well asda actually ha, went with my mum as not allowed to lift anything too heavy, how bad did i look just stood there while my 76yr old mum packed the shopping LOL anyroad my little trip out has tired me out just walking round!! feel like a climbed a mountain!! post sympathy messages below thankyou hehe ;-)

Remeber it well a bit of light dusting and I needed a nap... it gets better quite quickly... I tried to do as much as I could in the morning and dozed on the sofa all afternoon so I could enjoy an evening.......dozing on the sofa
At least you're on the mend devil and have had your first trip out. I hope you continue to progress well and now you have earned the right to put your feet up and have a nice cuppa and cream cake x

yes i've been doing a few bits in the morning then resting in the afternoon, i am being good and doing as i am told as i don't want to set myself back!! haha i know my poor mum, i kept saying i'm sorry mum, i felt guilty!! bet she has a rest this aft too!!
Hey Devil, I know that feeling, I had mine back in Feb and after a week or so felt fine just poodling about at home....my first trip out knocked me for! Please take it easy, it's still very early days for you and things need to heal on the inside.

Only 12 days, devil, you are doing well. My fatigue after the op lasted 3 months. Take Care. x
I sympathise. I took about a month to get over mine. It really does wear you out. Rest and take care of yourself.

Devil, you'll soon feel better than you did before the op, get as much rest as you can and take it easy.
take it easy 99, dont do too much right now, take your time, years ago after said operation they sent you to a convalescent home for a week by the seaside to recouperate now they just send you home to get on with it.
Wish you all the best and a speedy recovery in the meantime get those feet up and relax.
Glad you are healing well and looking after yourself devil....your mum was probs glad to help...even if she will be going to bed early tonight too HAHA just kidding xxx
