Apparently a Gay guy cannot give blood, is that true in the US, in the UK?

..but yes, still the law in the US
Unless they are evidently gay, ie: screaming nancy boys, like a couple of my friends, I don't know how they would know if someone was gay.

They ask you on the forms.
Also if you've had a tattoo or a piercing, you can't donate. In NI the DUP health minister has went against all scientific evidence and decided gay blood isn't acceptable.
