friend is awaiting a criminal ipp hearing for 3rd dui in as many years. he already served 31/2 months. sentencing coming up.
what is an ipp hearing and what should we expect? this happened in pa.

PP is Intermediate Punishment Program. Its a county program that is often a mix of house arrest, drug treatment, community service, and probation. (The state version is kind of similar and is called State Intermediate Punishment.)
