We are still in drought where I live.
Desperate for rain here. Gardens bone dry.
Let it rain down!

Maidup, thank all that is Holy, we've made 230 multicoloured jellies today!! Hopkirk, stop showing off lol
Really wet here the lawn needs mowing again. Forecast to be drier tomorrow hope it doesn't spoil the street parties.

shut up mark. lady have some of ours
Im loving the rain, the gardens need it and it clears the air, I also love to lie in bed listening to the rain on the skylight :))
Yes please nfn. It's expensive when you have a water meter and have to water the garden and the roof terrace because everything's bone dry.
Heard its going to be very wet again on Tuesday - what a shame for the big carriage procession, balcony appearance and especially the flypast - the planes will disappear into the low cloud :(

We had an absolutely brilliant street party - knackered now but all 230 jellies went and the sun shone all afternoon (it was a challenge keeping the marquee down during the gales in the morning though)
....... Long to rain over us .......
Apparently this is now officially the wettest drought on record..
I'm just in from the coast where we had some food and lit the local Jubilee Beacon. It was a fantastic evening, great atmosphere, mild, still and clear skies.

I hope we all had a good day. Personally, I'm never making 230 multicoloured jellies ever again. That said, it was worth it and everyone had a great time. Happy Diamond Jubilee everyone!!
