Just discovered water has been seeping under the vinolay in the bathroom for some time. It seems every time we have had a wash or washed our hair some of the water has found it's way under the lino. Will sealing prevent this? Many thanks.

You will need to take it all up and let underneath dry or it will rot the boards. Sealing might help but water will always find a way through. Just need to be more careful. Or put towels down when you plan to wash to absorb the fallout.
I would advise lifting the lino to see just where the water is coming from. It may be more than you think and I am talking from experience.
What is the vinolay laid on and what type of floor do you have?

The vinolay is laid on concrete, which was skimmed before it was laid. I have taken the vinolay up and the floor it is now dry. At first I thought there was a leak from the pedastel, but no, I think it was just drips of water splashing over as we wash. It may be a good idea to invest in a bathroom mat! Many thanks to everyone for answering my query.
