HARD-UP pensioners are having to ask their children for money because the recession has left them out of pocket.

...mm... NOT here they aren't. ..it's business as usual a the "Bank of Mum and Dad"..and we are happy for it to be so.

"Needs must when the Devil drives" you might say but personally I'd have to be in a bad way to take from my kid's.

Any Thoughts on that ABers ?

Sorry..this is from the Sunday Express....
Must have married late in life if they are raiding piggy banks.
I don't know. My Dad died at the age of 59 and my Mum is only 58 and working full time.

Her plans are to sell her house and buy somewhere small by the seaside. Doubt she will need topping up.
If my parents had need help to keep a minimum lifestyle, I'm sure I would have helped out if I could.
I quite happily pay several bills for my Mother, why wouldn't I? I can afford it and after all, she looked after me for years when I was younger. She has never asked me to do this I may add.
my eldest grandson has already said he wants me to leave him my car, he is TEN.
