Can anyone help ? I have seen an ad on the TV recently about granite worktop/counter covers that fit over your existing worktops. I know they are made to measure and they literally just fit over existing worktops. Any idea of the name of the company ? Thanks

I got a quote from them and they were very expensive but I can't remember the name. I'll have a think and get back to you when I remember. Err does Granite Solutions ring a bell?
Unsure but I believe I've seen the same thing at the DIY sheds. Homebase maybe ? Try the ones in your local area.
Yep, just googled it and it was Granite Solutions. It fits beautifully over your existing tops and you wouldn't know they were not the originals. I believe they have franchises so your finished job will only be as good as your local franchise. There is more than one company doing it though.
There are quite a few companies that do this, but only one of them seems to be advertising on TV. I suggest Googling for 'worktops granite cover'. There are plenty of links, including company names and comments on the subject.
Tambo do those people do template tops that fit over existing? It looked as if it was just new stuff. I got fed up of trying to find out.
dunno - ring them up
Tambo I wasn't asking for me I was asking you to clarify, as the OP is looking for one to fit over existing worktops and what you posted doesn't look as if it fits the bill. But it doesn't matter.
