On last night's Silk programme, when Martha was carrying her briefs in court, should they not have been wrapped in white tape now she is a QC? Does anyone know please?

Not a rule i'm familiar with. White tape is used on prosecution briefs, red for others. Never known a leader's brief to have the backsheet tied round it with white tape otherwise.

Thank you.
Maybe because during the case she had not yet been sworn in as a QC?
I thought that the series has started really well, and doesn't Maxine Peake sound like Julie Walters sometimes?!

Sorry islasmum did not reply yesterday, have just read your response. Thanks for that and yes she does should like Julie Walters. I think Maxine Peak is great in this part.
