I have been using Firefox but as so many people have been singing the praises of Chrome I have downloaded it. However I have lost the Yahoo toolbar which I had with Firefox and seem unable to download it. When I try to do so it says launch from IE or Firefox? Is it not compatible with Chrome?

Thanks, that solves that query. Will keep Firefox in reserve then.
Not sure why you would need it anyway. You can set the search engine to Yahoo, and pretty much anything else on the Yahoo tool bar can be achieved by simply adding the appropriate Yahoo page to you bookmarks tool bar

You're quite right, I don't really need it. It's just that I have got used to seeing what the weather is like outside as soon as I log on. Although I found Firefox pretty quick the increase in speed with Chrome is noticeable.
There are a number of Chrome apps that will do that for you.
My favourite is Weather Underground.
