I've just posted on the best book thread regarding Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and the title came up in red as a link to click on. I was just wondering why that happened

Looking at it, I can't see any links?

Sure you don't have any browser extensions installed which might pick out words and create wiki links for you, do you?

Click it and see :-)

They bring you to other threads.
Not showing red here, BS
You're not in the red here either
Lets see if Mollykins still works...
May be you are "overdrawn"

Anything is possible with my PC (being steam powered as it is) It's not a problem I was just curious & thought it might be part of AB
It sometimes is - but I couldn't see any in your post. Might be worth checking what plugins and extensions you're using?
Question Author
Thanks Ed but how do I do that?
I thought maybe it was an Amazon link, but looking at it, it's in black on my screen.
Did you say 'bury my heart @ wounded knee'

No Jomifl I definately typed "at"
Firefox: Tools > Add-ons
Chrome:Spanner > Settings > Extensions
IE: Tools > Manage Add-ons

Just see if there is anything odd there.
Assuming you're running internet explorer as your browser try clicking on start > all programs ? accessories > system tools > internet explorer(no add-ons)

this will load IE without any browser extensions loaded, then go and have a look at your post and see if it's in red, if it isn't then it's a browser add-on that's causing your post to be turned into a link
Question Author
Thanks Chuck I've just done that & all the red has gone away. Now I just need to work out wich add-on is doing it (I didn't realise there were so many)
If it was the book title that was highlighted in red then it's probably a book stores add-on causing it, such as Amazon.

if you click on the link for the book the page the link takes you to would be a good indication of whose add-on it is.

Thanks Chuck I think it was Shopping Assistant plug-in, but I did have to restart the PC before it took effect. I've no idea how I got that, but everything's good now

Thanks everyone for the help
"I've no idea how I got that"

It's likely to be something they snuck in when you installed something else.
