Any recent home buyers on AB? If so. how much did your Homebuyer's Report and Valuation cost ? I'm talking one-bedroomed bungalow in need of renovation here.

they stopped home buyers reports, its just the energy effeciency certificate (which is total c**p, who cares?)...that was £80.00, basic survey/valuation £250...inc vat

Chas you're thinking of the Home Information Pack, which got axed. You still have a choice between valuation, homebuyer or full structural survey when you buy. Other than that I can't help though as our mortgage company paid for our survey.
